Nicholas Mycio is a New York City based guitarist whose unique sonic palette combines the foundational language of Jazz with modern harmonic innovations brought about in the 21st century. A musician with a clearly defined vision, Nicholas has always striven to play in the same manner in which he speaks. To connect his thoughts to his improvisation perfectly, and perform with the same depth and meaning as a thoughtful conversation.

In 2024 Nicholas released his album “NONSTANDARD” to critical and commercial success. A fusion of breakbeats and jazz standards. A woven tapestry of new and old “NONSTANDARD” brought a new voice to beloved classics. “it comes close to prime time Michael Landau" - Ola Gränshagen, Melodic.

2021 was the year Nicholas released his first record “Secrets from the Streetlights” a personal album with a mix of originals and beloved standards. The album first conceptualized as Nicholas toured Europe in 2019 playing esteemed venues such as the Ivan Franko national academic drama theater in Kyiv, and the Moscow jazz festival.
